ired of flat-lined statistics, different-talk-same-results, and the latest “how to” when it comes to the Canadian Church? Hear the story of a Canadian-birthed global movement, Church Renewal, that is pushing churches into explosive growth and Christians into radical discipleship instead of the prevalent spiritual consumerism. If you’re a skeptic, see how this is actually impacting one of our own churches four years into their journey. In this session we’ll unpack three tectonic shifts that are moving the church into preparation for the last days: returning to corporate prayer, dealing with the problem of sin in the church, and experiencing the Holy Spirit in a fresh way.
Tony and Sara have been pastoring in Fort St. John for 15 years. They’ve seen their small-town church grow into a 500+ congregation and become a major player in the culture and life of the city. All four of their grown children are partners with them in their calling to bring life to the small-town and small-town church. Tony has a unique approach to local church and spirituality which many find refreshing. His first book, Small-Town Church: Massive Potential, is set to be released in the spring of 2018.
